SuprGlu Review

We've all probably used SuperGlue at some point in our lives. You know the stuff you can put on you hard hat that will adhear it to a steel I beam. There's are site call SuprGlu that does the same for the websites you use. If you are like me you monitor several blogs, social networking sites and news feeds. SuprGlu gives you a way to put all those on a single page aka "Glu" them together. I've tried the site for a while and it works pretty well they enable Blogger, 43 Places, Flickr, Digg and about a dozen others. If you have a RSS feed you can also link that in. Overall it's easy enough to setup and use and very functional.
I'd like to see more native support for news sites, Linkedin, and maybe even web-based e-mail but, they have a good start. It looks to be an experiment from Iredesco LLC. I'm not sure if it's going to pan out for them given competition from Google and Yahoo but, it's nice to see someone else giving a generic mash-up a shot.

Four Word Film Review
This is a cool little site. Who wants to read endless reviews of movies that tout films as the "hit of the year" or "best indie film in years" along with drivel about the character portrayals. This site allows uses to review films with the only rule being they must be four words or less. A few examples:
Knocked Up - Culmination of contraception miscommunication
Bourne Ultimatum - Jackal raises Bourne's hackles
Simpson's Movie - Yeller fellers bigger bolder
Check it out...

Yahoo's Mash

I came across some details on Yahoo's new social networking site Mash. Seems they are trying to compete with MySpace, Facebook and the like. It looks like a nice mashup with modules for blogs, games, photos, etc. An API is also in the works so developers can add their own modules and content. We'll see if this is going to pan out or if it's just another failed attempt by Yahoo. Seems like this is also an area where Google is still not dominate either.

Video Games that haven't made it to the US
I came across this article that lists 25 games that haven't made it to the US. It's seems like the Japanese always have some cool games and gadgets that take awhile to make it over here or never do. Anyone seen Pokemon or a Tamagotchi egg recently? There must be something new on the horizon. Stay tuned.

Start of the Road
I'm starting the blog to hopefully share some of the lesser know sites on the Web. Everyone knows there is a Digital Highway with sites like Google and Yahoo. I'm looking for those quaint out of the way places that are interesting or cool but, no likely to make their way into any "power" rankings. So sit back and enjoy...
